2025 – 39th Annual Kitsap Leadership Prayer Breakfast featured Michael R. Egnor, MD, is a Professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics at State University of New York, Stony Brook, has served as the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery, and is an award-winning brain surgeon. He was named one of New York’s best doctors by the New York Magazine in 2005. His book, The Immortal Mind: A neurosurgeon’s case for the existence of the soul, co-authored by Denyse O’Leary, was published by Worthy on June 3, 2025.

 
 
 

2024 – 38th Annual Kitsap Leadership Prayer Breakfast – Guest speaker Dr. Dan Diamond, MD, shares from his life experiences and call to prayer, with Pastor Ken Riley serving as the master of ceremonies, held at the Kitsap Golf and Country Club in Bremerton, WA.

2023 – 37th Annual Kitsap Leadership Prayer Breakfast featured Carrie Abbott, founder and president of The Legacy Institute and nationwide radio host, as the featured speaker. In addition, the late founder and director of the Prayer Breakfast, Carl Johnson, was remembered and honored for his tireless dedication to our community in so many ways.

2021 – 35th Annual Kitsap Leadership Prayer Breakfast featured Dr. Phil Fernandes, Christian apologist, teacher, and pastor was the featured speaker at the 35th Annual Kitsap Leadership Prayer Breakfast on Sept 30, 2021 in Bremerton, Washington. 

2019 – 34th Annual Kitsap Leadership Prayer Breakfast featured Greg Koukl, President and Founder of Stand To Reason (STR.org), is the featured speaker at the Sept 12, 2019, leadership prayer breakfast for Kitsap County, WA.

2018 – 33rd Annual Kitsap Leadership Prayer Breakfast featured WILLIE PARISH, Jr., who is the President of Bread of Life Mission in the heart of Seattle’s Pioneer Square District. He will share his personal testimony and reflections on his helping direct this important ministry to the homeless in Seattle as our featured speaker for the September 13, 2018 event.

2015 – 31st Annual Kitsap Leadership Prayer Breakfast featured Air Force Lieutenant General Larry James, Retired, the deputy director of NASA’ Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

2012 – Kitsap Leadership Prayer Breakfast featured Phil Downer is a popular national speaker at events such as Iron Sharpens Iron and Promise Keepers, and speaks to all branches of the U. S. military at voluntary chapels on leadership, core values, and the truths he has learned that have transformed his life.
